Lovely Lily [ Northern Virginia Photographer ]

Well… I should probably get back to posting some of my real estate session sneak peeks but things have been crazy around here this past week with school getting out for the summer (and the transition to having children at home all day) and these 1-photo, picture-of-the-day posts are, well… quick!

Besides, I do LOVE having a place to share my favorite flowers…  Here’s another one that surprised us in the garden of our new home.

There are actually 4 different colors of these beautiful lilies that popped up.  These are the tallest variety and by far the most beautiful and vibrant in color.

Tomorrow I will try to find time to do a longer post… I’m planning a new blog category featuring all sorts of places that make where we live here in the Washington DC/Northern VA suburbs a special place.

I was thinking, “What would my clients (both realtors serving families that might be new to the area – and families with children) benefit from seeing on this blog?”  After all… I can take your pictures or pictures of your home for sale – but why would you want to subscribe to this blog?

So I thought it might be fun to share some of the wonderful places we’re discovering as we explore our new town and the surrounding areas.  I’m going to call it “This is our Town” and separate the posts into the various localities.  I hope that it will help my readers and clients discover new places they may not have visited before and highlight all the wonderful family-friendly aspects of our region.

If you’re a realtor you can feel free to share it with your clients who are new to the area and wanting to know more about their potential new town.

If you’re a mom I hope it’ll make finding somewhere to go on those long afternoons a little bit easier!

So… tomorrow… I’ll be sharing some pictures from our recent visit to a local u-pick blueberry farm!  YUM!!
