It’s my children’s spring break so we’ve done some fun outings this week. Today was a visit to the National Zoo and WHAT a BEAUTIFUL day for it!
Just wanted to share a couple fun pictures I snapped as we passed by the Ape House. This guy (or gal??) seemed almost to be performing for the crowd. He ate a little snack and then climbed up onto the ropes and proceeded to “pose” for us. I bet enjoying the beautiful weather as much as we were. I was excited for the kids to get a chance to really see their feet and how they use their opposable thumbs to climb.
