Taking time to notice the details…

It’s amazing what you discover when you really take a few moments to slow down and observe the world around you.

I’m working on a new personal photography project which has me out in the garden.  As I was walking back up to the house to upload my newest pics I had to stop and take a few pictures of the beautiful new black-eyed susans and coneflowers we planted last week.  As I leaned in and looked through the viewfinder I noticed this teeny, tiny little inchworm.

I didn’t see him until I looked through the viewfinder with my macro lens… he was SOOOOOO tiny.

These are the moments that really make me stop and go, “Wow.”

There is so much wonder and beauty around us – even in the tiniest forms – if we just take a moment to stop and look a little more closely.
