Surprise Smiles in a Library Book

Just wanted to share a quick couple of iphone pics today that my daughter took yesterday.

She was absolutely delighted to discover a cute smiley face sticker inside the chapter book she was reading.  We checked the book out from the library the day before and hidden inside was a sticker.  We don’t know if it was put there by the librarian or by another child but it sure was a random act of kindness that made her day!

And here it is on her shirt!  Where she wore it happily the rest of the day.

And the great thing about random acts of kindness is that they inspire people to pay it forward.  She’s already talking about whether she can hide her own stickers inside the books when she returns them!
