Observation Tower

Another image from our recent visit to the Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly.  (and… GASP… another image with leaning verticals that I still love…losing my architectural photographer street cred I fear… lol).

This tower is fun, especially with little ones who like to watch planes.  Depending on the weather, you can sometimes get lucky and have the planes flying fairly close past the tower on take-off or landing.  It’s open limited hours (often closing about 4:00) so check the website for the daily schedule.  My girls loved it when they were toddlers.  They could have sat for hours watching things out the windows – pointing out cars – watching the planes fly by.
