When we’re out on family field trips there are times when everyone is busy and I find myself looking around while I wait for them to finish whatever it is they’re involved in. Inevitably I discover texture or lines or symmetry and suddenly I’m the weirdo standing in the center of the room looking upward, trying to get myself exactly beneath the chandelier with the camera held flat so that I can frame everything just right…
yep…
happens a lot
Thankfully the kind volunteer who had been talking to my kids while I wandered aside told me that I’m not the only one 😉
In fact, he says, he sees people do this all the time!
Well… it was a beautiful chandelier.
Can anyone guess where this one hangs? Hint: its in VA but not exactly “local” (aka… not Northern VA).
UPDATE: This image was taken at Jamestown
