Last September I had the opportunity to go on a quick overnight trip with a photographer friend of mine to meet up with one of our other photographer friends who was visiting from Washington State. She’s a horse photographer and wanted to visit Chincoteague. She booked a boat tour and we headed out for an evening of photographing the sites including Assateague National Park, the wild horses and dolphin. It was awesome. I never shared those pictures here so I thought I’d pull a pic or two over the next few days to share. This first one is of the Assateague Lighthouse taken from our tour boat that evening just after sunset. It was taken September 18, 2013 so that was the night before the full harvest moon – so the moon was quite spectacular too.
