A Different Kind of Newborn | Northern Virginia Pet Photographer

This week I had the extreme pleasure of snuggling and ooo-ing and aah-ing at 7 of the most adorable little newborns you can imagine.  Wrinkly faced, sleepy, and oh-so-soft newborn bulldog pups.  When one of my neighbors told me her Bulldog was having puppies I asked if I could visit for an informal photography session when the pups were born.  OH my goodness, I’m so glad she said yes because I just smiled and smiled through image after image as I processed them that evening.  Who wouldn’t want to take one of these sweet little guys home?!

They each had their own sweet little personality.  Here are a few of my favorite images.  First… the “Bulldog Stance”

And of COURSE I had to put them in a basket… they are newborns after all!

And look at that adorable little puppy dog tail!

Oh goodness… all this picture taking sure makes a pup tired… {YAWN}

Then we tried some “group” shots… which… well… posed a bit of a challenge!  But I’m so glad we tried because maybe the sweetest picture is saved for last.

Yep – it’s all love and smooches and sweetness.  These little guys are sure to find homes quickly.  Actually, most of them have already been promised to loving families.  After all, who can resist a little wrinkled up face like that!

Just got one of those myself! Nothing more adorable than a baby bullie. Your photos are beautiful! So….did you take one home?

Thank you so much! And… No – didn’t take one home… lol… but they sure were cute! I made a sale poster for the owner and I have it hanging on my file cabinet next to my desk still… 🙂 Those little guys just make you smile!
