{"id":332,"date":"2010-09-01T14:41:18","date_gmt":"2010-09-01T14:41:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/?p=332"},"modified":"2015-06-10T11:39:02","modified_gmt":"2015-06-10T15:39:02","slug":"central-railroad-of-new-jersey-terminal-virginia-real-estate-photographer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/central-railroad-of-new-jersey-terminal-virginia-real-estate-photographer\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal [ Virginia Real Estate Photographer ]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I haven&#8217;t posted in a few days. \u00a0It&#8217;s been super busy this past week &#8211; our last week of summer vacation before the kids go back to school. \u00a0But I thought I&#8217;d share a &#8220;picture of the day&#8221; today.<\/p>\n<p>Two weekends ago our family took a quick trip to New York City. \u00a0A friend of ours had never seen the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building so we were happy to give her a tour! \u00a0Our little ones who are 6 were also seeing these two landmarks up-close-and-personal for the very first time.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, on Sunday (otherwise known to us as Statue of Liberty day) it rained the entire day. \u00a0But of course, we decided to brave the elements. \u00a0I&#8217;m so glad we did because the rain stopped just as we were stepping foot on Liberty Island and didn&#8217;t start again until we were safely back on the Ferry. \u00a0So despite a bit of risk &#8211; I got to take the camera out and shoot some wonderful shots under a dramatic stormy sky.<\/p>\n<p>This one is a favorite of mine &#8211; it&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.njcu.edu\/programs\/jchistory\/pages\/c_pages\/central_railroad_of_new_jersey.html\" target=\"_blank\">Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal<\/a> taken from the Ferry to Liberty Island. \u00a0This is where we caught the Ferry from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.libertystatepark.org\/statueislandtrain.html\" target=\"_blank\">Liberty State Park<\/a> in New Jersey. \u00a0It&#8217;s an amazingly beautiful building and the sky just gives it great drama! \u00a0I can&#8217;t decide if I like the color or black and white version better this time&#8230; so I&#8217;m sharing both! \u00a0Which do you like better (I think I&#8217;m kinda leaning towards the black and white&#8230;)?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-333\" title=\"CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2.jpg 900w, http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2-327x218.jpg 327w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-334\" title=\"CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2-2\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2-2.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2-2.jpg 900w, http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/CentralRailroadofNewJersey_VirginiaRealEstatePhotographer-2-2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>(oh&#8230; and thanks for humoring me in sharing my family vacation pics!)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I haven&#8217;t posted in a few days. \u00a0It&#8217;s been super busy this past week &#8211; our last week of summer vacation before the kids go back to school. \u00a0But I thought I&#8217;d share a &#8220;picture of the day&#8221; today.
