{"id":148,"date":"2010-07-04T16:15:34","date_gmt":"2010-07-04T16:15:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/?p=148"},"modified":"2015-06-10T11:41:47","modified_gmt":"2015-06-10T15:41:47","slug":"happy-independence-day-virginia-real-estate-photographer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/happy-independence-day-virginia-real-estate-photographer\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Independence Day! | Purcellville Photographer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I love when the fourth falls smack dab in the center of a long weekend &#8211; this means celebrations all weekend long! \u00a0What could be better?<\/p>\n<p>We started our Fourth of July celebrations yesterday with our family in Maryland. \u00a0The evening ended with a fireworks show at Hawthorne Country Club in LaPlata, Maryland. \u00a0I was excited to get to try my hand at Fireworks shots 2 days in a row rather than just one! \u00a0 Here are my two favorites from last night.<\/p>\n<p>This one I call a happy accident!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-149\" title=\"IMG_8968\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_8968.jpg\" width=\"533\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_8968.jpg 533w, http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_8968-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m really not sure how that heart ended up in there &#8211; but I was THRILLED to see it. \u00a0You see, anyone that knows me knows that I have a thing for hearts. \u00a0Even my engagement ring is a heart-shaped diamond. \u00a0This is not photoshop trickery&#8230; the heart was there straight out of the camera&#8230; some sort of reflection on the puffs of smoke left in the air. \u00a0And the perfect sentiment for a fireworks celebration showing love of our nation and our freedom. \u00a0LOVE!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-150\" title=\"IMG_9006\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_9006.jpg\" width=\"533\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_9006.jpg 533w, http:\/\/catinaanderson.com\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_9006-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is my other &#8220;fav&#8221; from last evening. \u00a0This one was a longer exposure. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t have a tripod with me so I tried really hard not to breath for the 2 seconds the shutter was open! \u00a0 I love how this one shows the silhouettes of the families watching the fireworks, illuminated by the low-shot firework, as well as a bit of color from what was a gorgeous sunset. \u00a0And while the sunflare is probably an unwanted artifact to some &#8211; I love what it adds artistically to this particular shot.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m happy to get a chance to photograph another display this evening. \u00a0I hope everyone reading this has a great celebration this weekend. \u00a0Please be safe and have a Happy Independence Day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love when the fourth falls smack dab in the center of a long weekend &#8211; this means celebrations all weekend long! \u00a0What could be better?
