Today’s home buyers start their home search online. \u00a0They spend hours every day combing through listings on popular sites such as Homes Database and Realtor.com. \u00a0 Hours spent walking through homes are limited so buyers eliminate home after home based solely upon the images available online. \u00a0Unfortunately, many of these photos make the homes feel small, dark, dingy, cluttered. \u00a0Many are taken with point and shoot cameras producing dark, grainy photos with inaccurate color. \u00a0Some listings even lack photos all together.<\/p>\n

During my own home search, I remember listings that got my heart racing – where I called my agent absolutely sure that we had to see\u00a0that\u00a0home\u00a0today\u00a0because I was convinced it was so beautiful and so perfect for my family that it would certainly be gone tomorrow. \u00a0This didn’t necessarily mean it was the most gorgeous home out there in terms of architecture – but it did mean that the pictures conveyed to me that it was bright, clean, well-kept and perfect for the needs of\u00a0my\u00a0family within our budget.<\/p>\n

Most of all,\u00a0the photos helped create an emotional connection<\/em><\/strong> for me. \u00a0They made me say, “Wow, I would love to live there!” \u00a0\u00a0They drew me in and moved that home to the top of my “must-visit” list.<\/p>\n
