“Waddle for the Cure” [Northern Virginia Photographer]

Today was dedicated to a cause near and dear to my heart and one which I will probably post about several times a year (so it’s getting it’s very own blog category!).  We walked in the Komen Global Race for the Cure – my fifth year as a team captain.  It was a HOT one today!  But certainly more than worth it.  The energy at this event is just so positive and uplifting.  To see that many people gathered in one place with a common purpose, a common spirit…

it’s indescribable how it moves me…

And as you can see… even this mama wanted in on all the excitement!
