Last month I had the pleasure of photographing a home in Lucketts for Leslie Carpenter, Keller Williams Realty.
After this home, which was the third country home I photographed in one week, I thought that if there was some way to specialize only in country homes with beautiful landscaping and adorable outbuildings (like the red barn below) I would absolutely specialize. Luckily many of the realtors I work with do sell a lot of country homes here in Western Loudoun. Everything from cozy country homes on beautiful acreage to breathtaking country estates.
There is something that is just so “me” about this type of property. I thoroughly enjoy the peacefulness of the setting. I love the uniqueness of each home. I love how you walk in and never know what you’re going to find. It’s not the traditional dining room to the right, formal living room to the left set-up. And for a photographer that’s fun.
There are exposed brick walls and interesting architectural details.
And there’s a beautiful redbud and blooming forsythia…
It feels like “home.”
